Carnival route & road closures

Click on the map to see what roads will be closed during the 5k road race and procession.

The procession route will be closed at 11.30am and will only reopen once the procession has finished.

This will commence with the 5K road race, followed by the community groups walking from Wateringpool Lane, turning left onto Brownedge Road, right on to Prospect Avenue, right on to Moss Lane, right on to Watkin Lane, then turning left onto Coote Lane. Cars will be able to leave via Laburnum Avenue (and then onto Cedar Avenue) or Emily Street. Please ensure you comply with the road closure. Vehicles not following the closure and driving while roads are closed will be reported to the Police, and risk prosecution.
